Fight more, use less: New, more powerful ANSUL® LVS NF-40 Non-Fluorinated Liquid Suppression Agent delivers maximum performance at lower temperatures while using even less fire suppression agent. Johnson Controls continues to redefine vehicle fire suppression by offering uncompromising protection for heavy vehicles in extreme conditions – and we still do it all without the use of perfluorinated chemicals.
In a stand-alone system, ANSUL® LVS NF-40 Non-Fluorinated Liquid Suppression Agent prevents reflash by quickly knocking down flames, blanketing the fuel and cutting off oxygen, all without the addition of a dry chemical agent. But we’ve taken LVS performance even further, with a lower effective temperature rating of -40°F/-40°C. That means it’s easier and more practical to use ANSUL® LVS NF-40 Non-Fluorinated Liquid Suppression Agent on heavy vehicles in some of the most challenging conditions. And ANSUL® LVS NF-40 now requires even less agent to deliver the same performance as previous formulations for effective Class A and B fire suppression on mobile equipment. This biodegradable, non-fluorinated solution is also an easy upgrade for systems using legacy ANSUL® LVS agents.
ANSUL® LVS NF-40 Non-Fluorinated Liquid Suppression Agent reduces overall maintenance complexity, increasing vehicle uptime and lowering costs. Its advanced design requires:
- Less agent – Less hardware is needed for installation on a vehicle, resulting in lower weight, lower space requirements and streamlined installation.
- No measuring or guessing – Recharge quickly and efficiently with premixed agent containers and external pressure cartridges
- No new hardware – Simply drop agent replacement into existing ANSUL® LVS fire suppression systems.
- No annual agent replacement – Change it only at tank pressure test intervals.
As heavy-duty, mobile equipment approval standards continue to evolve, ANSUL® LVS NF-40 Non-Fluorinated Liquid Suppression Agent continues to lead the way. ANSUL® LVS NF-40 Non-Fluorinated Liquid Suppression Agent meets stringent compliance requirements, including FM5970 approval to the 2022 edition, and ActivFire Listed to AS 5062 Standard. It provides the suppression, superior cooling and securing properties needed for vehicle fire protection without the addition of fluorosurfactants.
This is uncompromising performance. This is vehicle fire suppression redefined.
